Saudi Arabia’s Producer Price Index (PPI) increased by 7.5% year-on-year (YoY) in May 2026, data from the General Authority for Statistics (GASTAT) showed.

The PPI rose to 110.5 points in May, according to the base year 2023, compared to 102.8 points in May 2025.

GASTAT said that this change reflects price movements within the key economic activities covered by the index.

The PPI is an economic indicator that reflects the relative changes and development in the volume of industrial production quantities, based on data from the industrial production survey, which includes establishments operating in mining activities, manufacturing, and utilities supply.
