Saudi Arabia’s holdings of US Treasuries rose in June 2026 to $142.5 billion, increasing by about $2.2 billion from a month earlier, according to data from the US Department of the Treasury.

The Kingdom maintained the 17th ranking among the largest holders of US Treasuries.

Saudi Arabia’s holdings comprised $108.6 billion in long-term Treasuries, accounting for 76% of the total, and $34 billion in short-term Treasuries, representing 24%.

Japan remained the largest holder of US Treasuries at $1.1167 trillion, followed by the United Kingdom with $939.9 billion and China with $633.4 billion.
