NEW YORK — Saudi Minister of Foreign Affairs Prince Faisal bin Farhan attended a ministerial meeting titled “Enhancing cooperation for a secure maritime region,” held on the sidelines of the high-level week of the 81st session of the United Nations General Assembly. The meeting discussed strengthening international cooperation and coordination to protect maritime security. The participants explored ways to address the challenges and threats facing maritime routes and regions, thereby contributing to ensuring freedom of navigation, securing supply chains, and enhancing regional and international stability and security. Prince Dr. Abdullah bin Khalid bin Saud Al-Kabeer, director general of the General Directorate of Policy Planning, also attended the meeting.
