NEW YORK — Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan arrived in New York to lead Saudi Arabia’s delegation participating in the high-level week of the 81st session of the United Nations General Assembly.The Saudi delegation includes Ambassador to the United States Princess Reema bint Bandar; Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, Cabinet Member and Climate Envoy Adel Al-Jubeir; Royal Court Adviser and Supervisor General of the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center Dr. Abdullah Al-Rabeeah; Deputy Minister of Health for Planning and Development Abdulaziz Al-Rumaih; Foreign Ministry Undersecretary for Multilateral International Affairs and Supervisor General of the Ministry’s Agency for Economic and Development Affairs Dr. Abdulrahman Al-Rassi; and Saudi Arabia’s Permanent Representative to the UN Ambassador Abdulaziz Al-Wasil, along with several other officials.Saudi Arabia’s participation in this year’s high-level week reflects the Kingdom’s commitment to strengthening international cooperation and multilateral action.The delegation is scheduled to take part in a series of meetings and bilateral talks aimed at strengthening coordination and cooperation with countries and international organizations.The meetings will also address issues on the General Assembly’s agenda and efforts to promote security and stability and tackle priority regional and international challenges.
