Saudi Fisheries Co. (Alasmak) announced completing the renewal of the lease agreement for the Al-Haridah Farm, located in the Asir region, with an area of 7,500 dunams.
The new lease will commence on the expiry date of the current agreement on Dhul-Hijjah 30, 1447 AH, for a period of thirty Hijri years, at an annual rental value of SAR 7,500, representing a 99% reduction from the previous agreement, the company said in a statement to Tadawul.
This will positively impact the project’s operating costs and ensure the continued long-term utilization of the company’s operational asset, it added, noting that any developments in this regard will be announced in due course.
According to Argaam’s data, Saudi Fisheries announced, on Oct. 7, 2025 settling its financial obligations to the Ministry of Environment, Water and Agriculture (MEWA) and proceeding with the renewal and transfer of Al Haridah farmland lease in the Asir region.
On Oct. 7, 2025, the company received a letter of approval from MEWA regarding its request to renew the lease for Al Haridah farmland, following the settlement of the company’s financial dues.
