Saudi Ceramic Co. announced a fire at one of the power stations supplying a tile production line at one of its plants in Riyadh’s Second Industrial City on Aug. 18. 
The incident affected the production on the line, the company said in a statement on Tadawul, adding that the fire was fully contained by Civil Defense teams, with no injuries or casualties.
Saudi Ceramic said it has comprehensive insurance coverage for the affected properties and facilities.
It is currently coordinating with the relevant authorities to assess the damage and the technical, operational, and financial impact of the incident.
The company will disclose any material financial impact or significant developments once the necessary information becomes available.
Saudi Ceramic is carrying out the necessary technical work and safety procedures.
It will later announce the expected date for the gradual resumption of production on the affected line once the required assessments and work are completed.
