RIYADH — Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Commerce has recalled 104 Lexus GS-F and RC-F vehicles over a fuel pump defect that could cause the engine to shut off while driving. The recall covers Lexus GS-F and RC-F vehicles from model years 2016 to 2022. According to the ministry, an internal component of the low-pressure fuel pump may expand, potentially causing the pump to malfunction and the engine to shut off, particularly while driving at high speeds. This could increase the risk of accidents. Owners of affected vehicles are advised to check whether their Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) is included in the recall through Recalls.sa. The ministry urged affected owners to contact Abdul Latif Jameel Company at 8001220022 to arrange the necessary repairs free of charge.
