Saudi Arabia ranks 29th globally in the 2026 Travel and Tourism Development Index.
Saudi Arabia ranked 29th globally in the 2026 Travel and Tourism Development Index, released by the World Economic Forum, placing the Kingdom among the world’s top 30 countries in the sector, the Ministry of Tourism said. 
It noted that the Kingdom’s ranking has followed an upward trajectory, rising 17 places since 2019 and three places since 2024. This reflects the growing competitiveness of the tourism sector and its increasing contribution to the national economy.
