Saudi Automotive Services Co. (SASCO) announced that the financial impact of its receipt of compensation for the expropriation of a station owned by NAFT Co., a subsidiary, in Jeddah will be recognized later, once the legal procedures for expropriating the property are finalized.

This comes since the expropriation and transfer of ownership of the property have not yet been completed, it added in a statement to Tadawul.

The company further stated that the expected financial impact on its consolidated financial statements for Q2 2026 is a loss of SAR 8.2 million, representing the station’s share of goodwill resulting from the acquisition.

SASCO also noted that it will announce any updates in this regard later.

In April, SASCO received SAR 13.02 million as compensation for the fuel station expropriated for the benefit of Jeddah Historic District Project, as per Argaam’s data.
