RIYADH — Riyadh’s Municipality continues expanding the capital’s green spaces, reaching over 1 million sqm of parks and recreational areas developed within five years. Within the extensive green spaces, Riyadh has 762 parks and recreational areas distributed across various neighborhoods with the aim of being closer to residents. The municipality explained that it will continue to expand Riyadh’s green spaces and increase the spread of parks and recreational areas across neighborhoods for easy accessibility and to aid the capital’s sustainability features.
