The Real Estate General Authority (REGA) announced the publication of draft regulations for real estate property management and real estate facilities management for public consultation via the Istitlaa platform.
The draft regulations for real estate facilities management aim to ensure the safe and efficient operation of facilities and technical services in properties, improve the quality of the real estate environment through higher standards of cleanliness, security, maintenance, and safety, and enhance resource efficiency, including energy and water consumption, REGA said.
Meanwhile, the draft regulations for real estate property management seek to regulate the contractual relationship between property owners and property managers by clarifying powers and responsibilities, protecting the financial and administrative rights of owners and tenants, and enhancing efficiency, transparency, and professionalism in revenue management.
REGA said the consultation period for both draft regulations begins today, May 14, and ends on June 14.
