Rasan Information Technology Co.said its board approved, on Aug. 5, key leadership appointments, the termination of the current CEO’s duties, the assignment of an acting CEO, and the reconstitution of board committees for the new term. 
In a statement to Tadawul, the company said that Moayad Alfallaj was appointed Chairman, with his membership status changing from executive to non-executive member, effective Aug. 6.
The board also appointed Fahad Abuhaimed as Vice Chairman, effective Aug. 6.
Additionally, the board terminated Alfallaj’s appointment as CEO, effective Aug. 5, after his appointment as Chairman. Nicola Garelli was named acting CEO, effective Aug. 6.
Garelli has over 20 years of experience in strategy, product development, and general management across the financial, insurance, and technology sectors. He served as Rasan’s Executive Vice President and Chief Strategy Product Officer since 2023.
The board also formed the executive committee, chaired by Alfallaj alongside members Abdulrahman AlMalik and Turki AlSudairy.
Meanwhile, the nomination and remuneration committee will be chaired by Bandar AlHammami, with Abdulrahman bin Abdullah Eiban and Turki AlSudairy as members. Both committees will serve from Aug. 6 until the end of the current board term on Aug. 3, 2029.
In a separate disclosure, Rasan announced the composition of its audit committee for the new term starting Aug. 4, comprising Fahad Al Mansour, Noura Tariq Al Qadi, and external member Talal Aljedaibi .
