Qassim Cement Co.expects a fuel price adjustment to increase its total operating costs by about 3%, with the impact taking effect from Jan. 1.

The adjustment applies to fuel used at the company’s plants in Qassim and Hail, the company said in a statement to Tadawul.

Qassim Cement said it remains committed to implementing best operating practices to mitigate the financial impact of the price increase and improve business efficiency.

The company added that it joined the Industrial Sector Competitiveness Program in 2024, which helps reduce the financial burden of higher energy costs and supports improvements in energy efficiency.

According to Argaamdata, the cement producer said in January that it had received a notice from Saudi Aramco of revised fuel prices for its operations, effective immediately.

At the time, the company said the adjustment would begin affecting production costs from the first quarter of 2026.
