Mouwasat Medical Services Co. said Doctors Company for Medical Projects had sought to exit Jeddah Doctors Co. before taking legal action, Al Eqtisadiah newspaper reported. Mouwasat said it also acknowledged the request in writing, expressing understanding of its position. 
The two sides later exchanged correspondence on the company’s valuation. Mouwasat declined to elaborate, citing the ongoing legal proceedings.
The company said the roughly SAR 335.4 million sought in the lawsuit filed against it by Doctors Company for Medical Projects relates to the asset’s value.
Mouwasat added that it retains full operational control of the Jeddah Doctors project and continues to manage it despite the dispute.
The company does not expect to pay any amounts in relation to the lawsuit, adding that there is no need to take provisions.
