Leen Alkhair Trading Co.’s board approved, on Oct. 7, a comprehensive strategic plan to restructure the company’s industrial, agricultural and logistics sectors.
This restructuring is part of its efforts to enhance operational efficiency and increase specialization in service delivery, aligning with its future objectives and planned expansions, Leen Alkhair said in a statement to Tadawul.
The plan includes separating the industrial, agricultural and logistics sectors into a wholly owned subsidiary (100%), while keeping the wholesale and supply sector within the main company.
The move aims to improve the company’s operational performance by allocating resources and management to each activity independently. This will strengthen governance, operational flexibility, as well as support growth and expansion opportunities in each sector.
Moreover, the restructuring is part of an integrated strategic plan aimed at developing the company’s business model and enhancing long-term shareholder value.
Leen Alkhair clarified that this initiative will have no material financial impact at this time.
Any material developments related to the restructuring plan or the conversion of company branches into subsidiaries will be announced in due course, the statement added.
