The objections were accepted as the criteria for fees under the Executive Regulations for White Land Tax did not apply, given that the land was developed and sold to third parties prior to the issuance of the fees, Ladun said in a Tadawul filing today, May 4.

The company added that two additional invoices totaling SAR 497,940 were settled through payments made by the buyers. Consequently, the total value of finalized invoices amounts to SAR 1.53 million, leaving the remaining 2026 invoices currently under review at a value of SAR 1.03 million.

Ladun’s management is following up on the remaining invoices to secure exemptions in accordance with the Executive Regulations for White Land and Vacant Properties.

According to Argaam data, Ladun announced last March the receipt of several white land tax invoices totaling SAR 5.28 million, SAR 8.05 million, and SAR 2.56 million for 2023, 2024, and 2026, respectively. However, it filed for objecting against these fees, citing the non-applicability of the regulatory criteria.
