Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz
King Salman bin Abdulaziz, upon a proposal by Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman, has ordered that a mosque to be built north of the city of Riyadh be named after King Abdulaziz, and to allocate a plot of land measuring 88,000 square meters along King Abdulaziz Road for the mosque’s construction. 
Naming the mosque after the late King Abdulaziz bin Abdulrahman Al Saud serves to perpetuate his national legacy and his historic achievements in unifying the Kingdom, as well as his commitment to building mosques throughout the Kingdom.
