JEDDAH — Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman has issued a royal decree reshuffling the Council of Ministers under the chairmanship of Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, while retaining its current members. The decision followed a review of the two royal decrees issued concerning the formation of the Cabinet, as well as related royal decrees and Article 9 of the Cabinet Law, issued by a royal decree, which stipulates that the Cabinet’s term shall not exceed four years, after which it shall be reshuffled by a royal decree. The King also issued another royal decree appointing Energy Minister Prince Abdulaziz bin Salman as chairman of the Board of the Local Content and Government Procurement Authority after relieving Bandar Alkhorayef of his position as the authority’s chairman.As per a third decree, the King appointed Mazen Al-Sudairi as chairman of the Capital Market Authority with the rank of a minister after relieving Mohammed Al-Quwaiz of his position as its chairman.
