Iran reclosed the Strait of Hormuz, after having opened it to commercial vessels yesterday evening for the remainder of the ceasefire period.

Iran announced control of the Strait of Hormuz has “reverted to its previous state” over the continuing row with the US over its naval blockade of Iranian ports.

Control of the Strait of Hormuz has reverted to its previous state, and this strategic waterway is under the strict management and control of the armed forces, news agencies reported, citing the Iranian Revolutionary Guard.
