MINA — Saudi Interior Minister and Chairman of the Supreme Hajj Committee Prince Abdulaziz bin Saud bin Naif said the successful implementation of the first phase of this year’s Hajj operational plans reflects the high level of coordination and integration among security, military and service agencies.During a meeting with Hajj security and operational leaders, Prince Abdulaziz praised the smooth movement of pilgrims to the holy sites and the successful management of the Day of Tarwiyah in Mina under safe and organized conditions.He stressed the importance of continued field monitoring and follow-up to ensure the successful completion of the remaining stages of the approved Hajj plans while maintaining the safety and security of pilgrims.The interior minister conveyed the greetings of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman and Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman to the security and military personnel participating in the 1447H Hajj mission.Prince Abdulaziz said the Saudi leadership places great importance on Hajj and continues to dedicate all resources and capabilities to serving pilgrims and enabling them to perform their rituals in safety and peace.He noted that the operational plans and organizational measures prepared for this year’s pilgrimage demonstrate a high level of readiness and professionalism across participating entities.The minister added that recent field inspection tours conducted by officials showed strong preparedness levels, high morale among participating personnel and effective coordination among security, military, service, health and oversight authorities.He also emphasized that Hajj operations receive direct support and close supervision from Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman through both logistical and legislative support aimed at ensuring the success of field and organizational plans.Prince Abdulaziz expressed confidence in the capabilities of security personnel and all Hajj workers, saying their efforts reflect professionalism and dedication in serving pilgrims.During his remarks, the interior minister also paid tribute to the late Gen. Saeed Al-Qahtani, praising his service and contributions to the Kingdom and Hajj operations throughout his career.Director of Public Security and Chairman of the Hajj Security Committee Lieutenant General Mohammed Al-Bassami also reviewed key results from the implementation of Hajj security plans and confirmed the readiness of security and military forces to continue executing the remaining phases of operations.
