The General Authority of Civil Aviation (GACA) issued the index classifying air transport service providers and airports based on the number of complaints filed by travelers in August 2026.

The total number of complaints submitted by passengers against airlines stood at 2,402, up 4% from 2,313 in August 2025.

The total number of complaints submitted by passengers against airlines stood at 94, down 33% from 140 in August 2025.

King Khalid International Airport reported the lowest number of complaints among international airports that receive more than six million passengers annually, recording 11 complaints per 100,000 passengers, with a timely complaint closure rate of 100%.

Taif International Airport reported the lowest number of complaints among international airports that receive less than six million passengers annually, recording 2 complaints per 100,000 passengers, with a timely complaint closure rate of 100%.
