Tadawul trading screen
Foreign institutions were net sellers of shares worth nearly SAR 142.7 million on TASI during the week ended Oct. 22, the Saudi Exchange (Tadawul) said in its latest weekly report. 
Foreign institutions accounted for 40.14% of total buy transactions and 40.90% of total sell trades on TASI.
Saudi retail investors were net sellers of shares worth SAR 73.5 million, pressured mainly by high-net-worth investors who sold shares worth SAR 351.5 million. Meanwhile, individuals were net buyers of stocks worth SAR 116.2 million, individual professional investors (SAR 148.8 million), and individual DPMs (SAR 13 million).
Saudi institutional investors were net buyers of shares worth SAR 457.7 million, mainly driven by companies, which recorded net purchases of about SAR 487.3 million, followed by government entities (SAR 41.8 million). Meanwhile, investment funds and institutional DPMs were net sellers at SAR 44.3 million and SAR 27.1 million, respectively.
