Electrical Industries Co. (EIC) received a letter today, July 23, from major shareholder Ajda Industrial Services Co., which owns 18.75% of the company’s shares. 
The letter stated that 42.18 million shares were transferred to investment portfolios of the shareholder’s affiliated companies.
The company said in a Tadawul statement that the transfer was part of an internal ownership restructuring.
The transaction resulted in a change in the ownership share of one of the company’s major shareholders on the Tadawul website.
