Edarat Communications and Information Technology Co. issued today, Sept. 16, a purchase order (PO) for cloud computing infrastructure and GPU-based computing equipment from Aqlaniyat Technology Ltd., with a total value of SAR 127.54 million, excluding VAT.
In a statement on Tadawul, the company said the purchase will be financed through supplier financing arrangements with Aklaniat Technologies Co. Ltd. and bank financing facilities, in line with its approved investment plan, with the purchase order to be supplied and commissioned in five phases over the next six months.
The company said the capital assets will be recognized in its financial statements during Q4 2026 and Q1 2027, with depreciation calculated over five years in accordance with its accounting policies.
Edarat added that its executive management has been authorized to complete all contractual, financial and technical procedures related to the purchase, including finalizing financing arrangements with local banks, noting that there are no related parties involved.
The PO follows the board of directors’ decision announced on Sept. 9, approving the strategic plan for the EdaratCloud Stack, aimed at expanding the company’s GPU-based computing capabilities and cloud computing infrastructure.
