RIYADH — The National Center for Meteorology (NCM) monitored rainfall activity across parts of the Kingdom for 24 hours, with the Eastern Province and Al-Qassim recording the highest precipitation, totaling 65mm. The recorded rainfall occurred from 9:00 a.m. on Monday, April 21, 2026, to 9:00 a.m. on Tuesday, April 21, 2026, with multiple monitoring stations registering measurable rainfall. The Eastern Region recorded the highest precipitation, with Hafar Al-Batin Air Base station recording 40.6mm. It is followed by Qassim, which recorded 24.4mm at the Prince Naif bin Abdulaziz Airport. The Al-Shanan district in Hail saw 15.6mm of precipitation, while Jazan saw 5.8mm in Fifa, Riyadh saw 3.4mm in Al-Quwaiyah and Halban, and 1.9mm in Rafha Airport, Northern Borders. Asir was the only Region to record less than 1 mm of rain, with a total of 0.6mm in Tenuma. The NCM had previously issued multiple weather alerts across the Kingdom, warning of varying conditions, from light to heavy rainfall.
