Eastern Province Cement Co. (Eastern Cement) said it completed construction of a new cement production line with a capacity of 10,000 tons of clinker per day at its Khursaniyah plant, according to a statement to Tadawul. 
The company said trial operations have begun and will continue until all equipment is tested and operational efficiency is confirmed.
It added that any further developments will be disclosed in due course.
Eastern Cement had signed a contract in February 2024 with China’s Sinoma CDI to build the new production line, according to Argaamdata.
