Budget Saudi said the breach did not affect any financial and banking data related to the company or its customers

United International Transportation Co. (Budget Saudi) said it detected a cybersecurity incident involving unauthorized access to a limited portion of data belonging to certain customers through the Budget Saudi mobile application.

In a statement on Tadawul, the company said it immediately activated its security protocols upon discovering the incident and implemented technical measures to contain it and mitigate its impact. It also began verification and technical assessment procedures in coordination with the relevant authorities.

Budget Saudi said the breach did not affect any customer or company financial or banking information, adding that the incident has had no financial or operational impact, with all operations and systems continuing to function normally.

The company said it is conducting further technical reviews and investigations to fully assess the scope of the incident and will disclose any material developments in line with applicable regulations.

Budget Saudi reiterated its commitment to protecting customer privacy and safeguarding the confidentiality of personal data, noting that it continues to apply the highest security and technical standards to mitigate cyber risks, strengthen information security, and maintain customer trust.
