AYYAN Investment Co. submitted today, Aug. 30, an application to the Capital Market Authority (CMA) for approval to reduce its capital, according to a statement to Tadawul.

The capital reduction is subject to the applicable regulatory approvals, including the approval of the company’s extraordinary general meeting (EGM).

The company will announce any future developments in this regard later, the statement added.

According to Argaamdata, AYYAN incurred a net loss of SAR 87.2 million in H1 2026, compared with a net profit of SAR 385.2 million in the year-earlier period.

Accumulated losses stood at SAR 198.77 million as of H1 2026, representing 19.75% of the company’s capital.

Earlier, AYYAN’s board of directors recommended a 24.72% capital cut to SAR 757.6 million from SAR 1.01 billion to restructure the company’s capital, amortize accumulated losses, and reduce excess capital beyond the company’s needs.
