AYYAN Investment Co. obtained on Aug. 31, a Shariah-compliant credit facility under a Tawarruq arrangement from Saudi Awwal Bank (SAB) at competitive rates, valued at SAR 150 million.
In a statement to Tadawul, the company said the revolving facility has a five-year tenor.
The financing will be used to expand the company’s investments in equity instruments, both listed and unlisted on the Saudi market, including equity stakes in unlisted companies.
The collateral provided for the financing includes a promissory note and a pledge over part of the investment portfolio’s assets.
