ABHA — Asir Emir Prince Turki bin Talal visited victims injured in the amusement ride accident in Abha on Monday to check on their condition and review the medical care being provided, wishing them a speedy recovery.The emir said the relevant authorities are continuing their investigations to determine the circumstances surrounding the incident, stressing that there will be no tolerance for any negligence or misconduct proven by the findings.He emphasized that human safety is a red line in Saudi Arabia, adding that protecting lives is a responsibility that allows no complacency and that all necessary measures will be taken in accordance with the investigation’s outcome.Earlier, the Asir Emirate said the relevant authorities responded immediately after receiving reports that an amusement ride had collapsed at a festival in Abha, with emergency teams providing medical care to those injured.The emirate said investigations into the cause and circumstances of the accident are ongoing, while all legal procedures are being completed to determine the technical and regulatory factors related to the incident.
