Arabian Drilling signs nearly SAR 2 bln contract to provide four offshore jack-up rigs to KJO
Arabian Drilling Co. signed a new contract with Al-Khafji Joint Operations (KJO) to provide four high-specification offshore jack-up rigs to support KJO’s offshore drilling operations, with a total value of nearly SAR 2 billion. 
According to a statement on Tadawul, the contract, signed on Sept. 28, has a four-year term.
The company expects the contract’s financial impact to begin from the end of Q4 2026.
There are no related parties to the contract, the company said.
The contract increases Arabian Drilling’s total backlog to about SAR 18 billion and strengthens its fleet serving KJO operations in Al-Khafji. This represents a 200% increase in the number of the company’s rigs serving KJO operations.
