Saudi Arabian Amiantit Co. said it owns an industrial plot in the Al-Mulaysa (Al-Quzain) scheme in Jeddah, acquired in 2009 for SAR 150 million.
Jeddah Municipality had suspended plots in the scheme to divide the entire area ahead of issuing electronic title deeds, the company said in a statement on Tadawul.
The statement said the company regularly follows up with the Jeddah Municipality and has sent official letters to the municipality and the State Properties General Authority (SPGA) to inquire about the land’s current regulatory status, adding that it has yet to receive an official response and will announce any developments immediately.
