SAKAKA— Emir of Al-Jouf Prince Faisal bin Nawaf received Minister of Hajj and Umrah Tawfiq Al-Rabiah at his office in Sakaka on Sunday. Deputy Emir of Al-Jouf Prince Miteb bin Mishal was also present at the meeting.The minister was accompanied by President of the General Authority of Civil Aviation Abdulaziz Al-Duailej, Governor of the Zakat, Tax and Customs Authority Eng. Suhail Abanmi, and Acting Director General of Passports Maj. Gen. Saleh Al-Murabba.The Emir and the minister witnessed the signing of a cooperation memorandum between Al-Jouf’s Association for Pilgrims and Umrah Services and Nusuk Foundation aimed at supporting the operational aspects of Hajj and Umrah Pilgrims City in the region and enhancing the quality of services provided to pilgrims.During the meeting, Prince Faisal reviewed the plans and work of the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah at Al-Haditha border crossing and the location through which pilgrims pass in the region under the ecosystem of services provided to enhance their quality and facilitate their journey from arrival in the Kingdom.Al-Rabiah reviewed the ministry’s efforts to support the readiness of services provided to pilgrims through the crossing by enhancing coordination with relevant entities, employing technological solutions, and improving field performance efficiency. This contributes to facilitating procedures and enabling pilgrims to perform their rituals in ease and comfort.The minister also praised the leadership’s care for pilgrims and its keenness to mobilize all capabilities for their comfort. He stressed that the integration of efforts among relevant entities contributes to improving the quality of services provided and reflects the Kingdom’s commitment to serving pilgrims.
