A manufacturing facility of Al Jouf Cement
Al-Jouf Cement Co.said it signed a one-year sale-and-supply contract with Maham Construction Contracting Co., a subsidiary of Al-Hassan Holding Group, for the export of various types of cement and clinker to Syria.
The contract is valued at SAR 55.41 million, the company said in a statement to Tadawul.
The contract involves Al Jouf Cement selling and supplying various types of cement and clinker in accordance with the agreed commercial terms, technical specifications and payment mechanisms.
The contract’s impact is expected to be reflected in the financial results starting Q3 2026.
Concurrently with the signing of the contract, Al Jouf Cement and Maham Construction signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to establish strategic cooperation and explore investment and commercial opportunities.
The move aims to establish a general framework for collaboration between the two parties, studying opportunities for strategic partnerships and alliances, joint projects, and commercial and investment cooperation models, as part of the executive initiatives of the transformation strategy.
The MoU, in its current phase, does not entail any direct financial impact or any binding contractual obligations on either party. Any material developments or final agreements, if any, will be disclosed in due course, the statement said.
