RIYADH — The Ministry of Interior’s electronic platform, Absher, has processed a total of 49,118,832 electronic transactions for beneficiaries through Absher Individuals and Absher Businesses during the last month of August.Through the Absher Individuals platform, 46,379,060 transactions were completed, and these include 37,117,035 document viewings through the digital document wallet available to citizens, residents, and visitors via the Absher application. Meanwhile, the number of transactions processed through the Absher Businesses platform reached 2,739,772.The General Directorate of Public Security has processed 3,639,719 transactions, including 3,515,902 transactions by the General Directorate of Traffic, 2,103,849 transactions by the General Directorate of Passports, and 628,711 transactions by the Ministry of Interior’s Civil Status Agency. Through the Absher Individuals platform, 128,321 reports were issued via the Absher Reports service, while 2,230 general inquiries related to fingerprinting were processed.It is worthy to note that the unified digital IDs issued by the Ministry of Interior through the Absher platform enable citizens, residents, and visitors to access, easily and reliably, the services of the Ministry’s various sectors through its electronic platforms: Absher Individuals, Absher Business, and Absher Government. They also provide access to government and private entities through the National Unified Access Portal Nafath.
