Rabigh Refining and Petrochemical Co. (Petro Rabigh) signed today, Oct. 15, a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Jia Hua Chemicals Inc to explore establishing a plant for advanced products used in the construction and automotive sectors in Rabigh, under the Ministry of Energy’s patronage. 
The plant will produce specialized chemicals derived from ethylene oxide and propylene oxide, essential materials supplied by Petro Rabigh for the project.

In a statement to Tadawul, the company said the MoU lasts 12 months, with no related parties or financial impact from the signing.
This strategic cooperation aligns with Saudi Arabia’s strategy to boost local production of specialized chemicals, reduce imports, and enhance manufacturing in the construction and automotive sectors.
