The Oversight and Anti-Corruption Authority (Nazaha) initiated several criminal and administrative cases after conducting 2,662 inspection tours in October. 
In a post on X, Nazaha said it investigated 454 suspects and detained 174, some of whom were later released on bail, over alleged involvement in bribery and abuse of public office.
The authority said the detainees included employees of the ministries of interior, education, commerce, and municipalities and housing.
