Middle East Paper Co. (MEPCO) revised the expected completion timeline for its containerboard mill project (PM5) and the sixth tissue paper production line.
The company said in a statement on Tadawul that pilot and commercial production at the containerboard mill is expected to begin in Q1 2028, instead of the previous target of Q4 2027.
The updated estimated cost of the containerboard project increased to SAR 1.88 billion, from the previously estimated SAR 1.78 billion, representing a 5.7% increase.
