Saudi Arabia restarted operations at its East-West Pipeline and could resume exports from the Red Sea port of Yanbu later today, Sept. 22, Reuters reported, citing three sources briefed on the matter.
The pipeline was pumping at a low rate, two of them said.
Meanwhile, Bloomberg quoted sources as saying that several Asian refiners were told informally by Saudi Aramco that they would soon be able to pick up oil from Yanbu.
Saudi Ministry of Energy announced on Sept. 11 that the East-West Pipeline in the Riyadh and Madinah regions came under multiple attacks and was closed as a precaution, Argaam earlier reported.
