Al Kathiri Holding Co. announced the resignation of independent board member and audit committee member Hussein Al-Dosari, effective Sept. 13, for personal reasons.

In two separate statements to Tadawul, the company said Rawan Aldawood, an independent member, was appointed to fill the vacant seat effective Sept. 14, until the end of the current board term on May 6, 2030. The board approved the appointment through on Sept. 13, 2026.

Aldawood is a legal consultant and licensed attorney. She holds a master’s degree in commercial law and another in Islamic jurisprudence, as well as a diploma in English language. She is also a certified intellectual property agent and has professional experience in commercial law, governance and compliance.

She currently holds several legal and leadership positions, including co-founder and partner at Madmoun Law Firm, legal advisor to the General Authority for Small and Medium Enterprises, member of several chamber of commerce committees, and Vice President of the Saudi-Belarusian Business Council. She also holds several relevant professional licenses and memberships.

The company noted that the board’s approval is not final and that the appointment will be submitted to the first general assembly meeting for ratification.
