Edarat Communication and Information Technology Co.said its board approved on Sept. 9 a plan to invest up to SAR 150 million to expand its EdaratCloud Stack. 
The investment will increase the company’s GPU computing capacity and support anticipated demand for artificial intelligence and high-performance computing services in Saudi Arabia, the company said in a statement to Tadawul.
The investment will be implemented through purchase orders and/or contracts, as applicable. The financial impact, if any, will be determined and disclosed upon execution of the relevant purchase orders or contracts.
The company said it will disclose any material developments in accordance with applicable rules and regulations.
