Saudi retail investors were net buyers of shares worth SAR 1.15 billion during the week ended Sept. 3, led by high-net-worth investors who bought SAR 535.7 million worth of shares. 
Individual investors bought SAR 510.3 million worth of shares, while individual professional investors bought SAR 173.7 million. Individual discretionary portfolio managers (DPMs), however, recorded net sales of SAR 67.2 million.
Foreign institutional investors were net sellers of shares worth SAR 1.29 billion.
Foreign institutions accounted for 42.53% of total buy transactions and 47.28% of total sell transactions on TASI.
Saudi institutional investors were net buyers of shares worth SAR 254.1 million, mainly driven by corporates, which bought shares worth SAR 503.9 million.
Meanwhile, investment funds were net sellers of shares worth SAR 45.3 million, institutional DPMs sold SAR 129.5 million, and government entities sold SAR 75.1 million.
