Red Sea Global announced the opening of Equinox AMAALA Resort in the Marina Village at Triple Bay in the Amaala destination, marking the second Equinox-branded hotel worldwide and its first outside the US.
According to the company, the resort features 128 rooms and suites across six accommodation categories, including two penthouses, as well as 21 branded residences. It also houses the destination’s largest fitness facility, a 1,602-square-meter spa, four outdoor pools and four restaurants.
The AMAALA destination, located on Saudi Arabia’s northwestern coast, will include more than 1,600 hotel rooms across nine resorts upon completion, along with branded residences, wellness facilities, a yacht marina, shopping destinations and restaurants.
According to Argaam data, Red Sea Global opened the AMAALA destination last November, with the opening featuring six luxury resorts, an exclusive yacht club and a global marine life center. Investment in developing the first phase totaled SAR 51.04 billion.
