Arab National Bank (ANB) began issuing USD-denominated additional Tier 1 (AT1) capital certificates through a special-purpose vehicle, offering them to eligible investors in Saudi Arabia and internationally.

In a statement to Tadawul, the bank said the size and terms of the issuance will be determined based on market conditions.

The offering period runs from today, Sept. 2, through Sept. 3.

The bank has appointed several institutions as joint lead managers and joint bookrunners for the potential offering, including ANB Capital, ANB, Arqaam Capital Ltd., ASB Capital Ltd., Citigroup Global Markets Ltd, Goldman Sachs International, HSBC Bank plc, Mizuho International plc, Standard Chartered Bank, and Warba Bank KSCP.

ANB noted that the sukuk will be listed on the London Stock Exchange’s International Securities Market and may be offered and sold in accordance with Regulation S under the US Securities Act of 1933, as amended.
