Saudi Arabia’s exports of chemical and related products declined 30% year-on-year (YoY) to SAR 4.7 billion in June 2026. Petrochemical exports plunged to the lowest since December 2020.
Compared with May 2026, chemical exports fell by SAR 844.1 million, or 15%, according to data from the General Authority for Statistics (GASTAT).
Chemical and related products accounted for 19.2% of SAR 24.59 billion in non-oil exports in June.
India was the largest importer of Saudi chemical industry and related products in June 2026, with SAR 1.25 billion, accounting for 26.5% of total exports. The USA followed with SAR 421.1 million.
