RIYADH — Saudi Arabia and Senegal signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to strengthen cooperation in preventing corruption and combating transnational and financial crimes. For the signing, the Kingdom was erpresented by the Oversight and Anti-Corruption Authority (Nazaha), while Senegal was represented by the National Office for the Fight against Fraud and Corruption. In line with the United Nations Convention against Corruption, the MoU is intended to strengthen institutional cooperation, facilitate the exchange of information and expertise, build capacities, and develop specialized practices in integrity protection and anti-corruption efforts. The two sides also explored ways to strengthen cooperation in tackling financial crimes and cross-border corruption, including through the exchange of expertise and best practices to advance transparency and good governance.
