Nama Chemical shareholders will also determine the auditor’s fees
Nama Chemicals Co.’s shareholders will vote on Sept. 7 to appoint an external auditor to examine, review and audit the company’s financial statements for Q2, Q3 and Q4 2026, the full-year 2026 and Q1 2027.
Shareholders will also determine the auditor’s fees, Nama Chemicals said in a statement to Tadawul.
The audit committee invited several audit firms to submit proposals. Following a review and evaluation of the offers received, it recommended that shareholders select one of the following firms: Ibrahim Ahmed Al-Bassam Partners, Certified Public Accountants, with proposed fees of SAR 1.38 million, or Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Co. International, with proposed fees of SAR 1.165 million.
In July, the company said that it was unable to publish its preliminary financial results for the period ended June 30, 2026, within the statutory period, citing the incomplete audit of its consolidated annual financial statements for 2025 and preliminary financial results for Q1 2026. At the time, the company said it was working on appointing an external auditor.
Tadawul suspended trading on Nama Chemicals’ shares on April 1, for one session, before suspending trading again on April 30, due to the company’s failure to announce its annual financial statements for 2025 within the statutory period.
