JAZAN — Patrols of the General Administration of Mujahideen in the southern Jazan region arrested a citizen for transporting six Yemeni nationals, who had violated border security laws, in his vehicle. Legal procedures were initiated against all parties, with the violators referred to the competent authority and the transporter referred to the Public Prosecution. The spokesperson of the General Administration of Mujahideen emphasized that facilitating the entry of border security violators into Saudi Arabia, transporting them, providing them with shelter, or offering any form of assistance carries penalties of up to 15 years in prison and a fine of up to SR1 million, in addition to confiscation of the transport vehicle, and public naming. The spokesperson stated that this crime is considered as a major offense. The public is urged to report violations of residency, work, and border security regulations by calling 911 in the regions of Makkah, Madinah, Riyadh, and the Eastern Province, and 999 or 996 in all other regions. All reports will be treated with strict confidentiality without any liability to the whistleblower, he added.
