TABUK — Prince Fahd bin Sultan bin Abdulaziz, Emir of Tabuk and Chairman of the Regional Council, chaired on Tuesday the opening session of the council’s first term for the 1448–1449 fiscal year.At the outset of the meeting, Prince Fahd, on behalf of himself and the council members, expressed his gratitude to Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman and Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman following the issuance of the royal order approving the appointment of members of regional councils for their eighth term.He said the appointments reflect the Saudi leadership’s continued support for regional councils and its commitment to strengthening their role in advancing development across the Kingdom and contributing to the country’s comprehensive development drive.Prince Fahd congratulated the newly appointed members on the royal confidence placed in them, wishing them success in carrying out their responsibilities, serving Tabuk and its residents, and contributing to the region’s continued development.
