RIYADH —The Ministry of Commerce has recalled 20 Hollis 200LX Second Stage diving regulators due to a defect that may cause the pressure regulator inlet to break or detach, increasing the risk of drowning. The defect in the pressure regulator inlet —the entry point where high-pressure or fluctuating fluid or gas enters the device — could cause the regulator to break or detach, effectively halting its functioning and increasing the risk of drowning. The recall affects products with serial numbers C3753–C77735, S73202–S84427, HA00001–HA14873, and LX001698–LX009896. The Ministry urged consumers to immediately stop using the affected product. Customers were also urged to contact Jeddah Diving Establishment at 0126941123 to have the necessary repairs carried out free of charge.
